What is Vedic Astrology?
Indian Vedic astrology is also known as Vedic Jyotish. Vedic means “wisdom and truth “and Jyotish means “true light of God”.
Vedic astrology is an ancient science that can be traced back to at least 5000 BC and is based on astronomical and mathematical calculations of how the stars and the planets are moving in the sky. Together with a deeper knowledge, further studying and experience, it can be interpreted what kind of events can be a challenge for a specific part of the world, a nation or an individual.
Thousands of years ago some sages used all this knowledge, science and wisdom and wrote it down as hymns and rhymes in the spiritual language of sanskrit. These ancient and sacred texts is called the Vedas.
You can develop a deeper understanding of your karma (issues you may struggle with in this lifetime) and find some solutions by becoming more conscious of weaknesses and strengths from a spiritual perspective.
About
My spiritual interest started very early as a child. This led me later in to a path of shamanic inspirations, using crystals to enhance health and crystalhealing processes. I also started my first crystal healing practice during 1997.
The spiritual therapeutic work and enjoyment got deepened during 1999 when I had the opportunity to study for Katrina Raphael at Crystal Academy of Advanced Healing Arts, Hawaii, USA. This time was a life changing experience.
Around 2011 I shifted my interest from Western astrology into Vedic Astrology. For some years I took self studies, but later on I studied 3 years by Vedic Astrologer Komilla Sutton. Komillas teachings is from a classical Vedic and Jyotish perspective. I deepened my understanding of Vedic astrology and developed other perspectives about karma and learned more about the dashas and power of timing.
I am also interested in working in the topic of earth energies. This work has supported my intuition and development in becoming even more conscious.
My spiritual path is a never ending process. There is no ending for how much you can learn about yourself or in just one topic.
Some Vedic astrologers say we live in a Kali Yuga era that is a very challenging time for many human beings. One of the best investments in this time is taking on a spiritual path and using some of your time to focus your energy on releasing and healing these issues that are not serving you or keeping you stuck in a situation you don't want.
